Allocation of Parking Stalls & Storage Lockers – Changes to Form B
Effectiive January 1, 2014, strata corporations will be required to make disclosure on the Form B how parking and lockers are allocated. In strata corporations where parking stalls and lockers are common property, it is incumbant upon the strata council to prepare lists that describe which parking stalls and lockers are allocated to which strata lots and to keep these lists current. The Form B requires the strata corporation to provide background on the allocation of stalls and lockers and the attachment of documentation that supports the parking and locker assignments. For parking stalls and lockers which are designated limited common property, this could mean attaching a copy of the relevant section of the strata plan. Those that are leased may require attachment of the applicable lease.  For common property parking and lockers which are assigned by the strata council, this could include a current assignment list signed by the council and/or the minutes of the council meeting where the decision was made to make the assignment.
